Pediatric Neurologists

Our pediatric neurologists specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders in children. Disorders that affect a child's nervous system may interfere with how well a child is able to develop, learn, move and behave. These problems vary with the age of the child. A pediatric neurologist tries to determine the cause of specific problems and develops a treatment plan for them, including integrative medicine strategies. Our services focus on diagnosing, treating and managing a wide variety of neurological disorders in children, including, but not limited to:

  • Epilepsy and Seizure Disorders
  • Headache Syndromes
  • Movement Disorders
  • Concussion/Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Genetic Disorders
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Developmental Delay
  • Muscular Dystrophy
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Sleep Disorders
  • Attention Disorders

Care for pediatric patients and their families is provided under a family-centered philosophy by a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals that includes physicians who are board-certified in neurology and pediatrics, advanced practice providers (APPs), neuropsychologists and support staff. Our board-certified pediatric neurologists are highly skilled and experienced in identifying and treating neurological problems particular to the growing and developing child from birth to adolescence. Because a neurological condition can impact all members of a family, our services include:

  • Evaluation of neurological conditions in children, including seizures, headaches, tics and neuromuscular disorders
  • Care during inpatient hospitalization, if necessary
  • Family education and support, including development of care plans to help families provide home care
  • Referral to community resources
