Pediatric Neurologist Biographies

Noran Clinic has neurologists specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders in children. We work closely with children and their families to assure comprehensive and effective care. Disorders that affect a child's nervous system may interfere with how well a child is able to develop, learn, move and behave. These problems vary with the age of the child. A pediatric neurologist tries to determine the cause of specific problems and develops a treatment plan for them. Care for pediatric patients and their families is provided under a family-centered philosophy by a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals that includes physicians who are board-certified in neurology and pediatrics, allied health professionals (AHPs), neuropsychologists and support staff. Our board-certified pediatric neurologists are highly skilled and experienced in identifying and treating neurological problems particular to the growing and developing child from birth to adolescence. Because a neurological condition can impact all members of a family, our services include:

• Evaluation of neurological conditions in children, including seizures, headaches, tics and neuromuscular disorders
• Care during inpatient hospitalization, if necessary
• Family education and support, including development of care plans to help families provide home care
• Referral to community resources
